The East Blue Saga is the introductory arc of the One Piece series, where we meet Monkey D. Luffy and his dream of becoming the Pirate King. It begins with Luffy's departure from his home village after gaining the ability to stretch his body like rubber, thanks to eating the Gum-Gum Fruit.
Throughout the saga, Luffy gathers his first crew members: Zoro, a skilled swordsman; Nami, a cunning navigator; Usopp, a sharpshooter and storyteller; and Sanji, a talented cook with a passion for the sea. They face various adversaries, including the notorious pirate Buggy and the tyrant Arlong, who terrorizes Nami's home village.
